Bukhansan- Baekhundae peak.Hiking is good for the soul... and something quite spectacular in Seoul! (that pun never gets old to me. bah.) We took the subways and busses all the way there. On the bus we met a group of (ex)soldier's who we hung out with the rest of the day. They are currently university students who all met during their required years of service in the South Korean army. These guys were hilarious! We had a lot of fun with them! Collectively their English was pretty good... but the communication struggle is what makes our new friendships here so great and always funny! We'll never forget these guys and their genuine friendship with us. They were so kind. At the top we all enjoyed spectacular views of our giant city and pooled all our snacks together to share the most gourmet lunch I've ever had on a day hike. We're a couple of lucky ducks. Life is good to us.
