Celebrating New Year's in a big city doesn't disappoint. We ate out at a classy restaurant near our home. Window shopped inside the fancy DOOTA department store to warm up. Went ice-skating at City Hall's Seoul Plaza... with children's helmets for safety;) Took a hot beverage break at a coffee shop. Then joined the crowd at Bosingak in Jongno (historical bell street) to welcome 2011. I was moved by the Korean countdown. We bought and set off some fireworks of our own in the streets as we walked back to the subway. How excited we are for this brand new year sure to be full of more adventure.
