We went to our first professional 'futbol' game this weekend at the World Cup Stadium here in Seoul. It was SO much fun! It was cute to see so many little kids decked out in their soccer uniforms cheering at the game with their friends. I could see in their eyes the dream of being on the field someday. My middle schoolers' are also obsessed with the sport. I know all of their favorite teams and players. The game ended in a 1-1 tie, but it was really exciting so we weren't disappointed. Plus- a looney old man kept turning around and giving us candy, sweaty potato chips, handholds, and an occasional knee grope, for no reason at all. ...See? Soccer is fun.
