Busan, South Korea.
We spent three days nestled in-between the Sea of China on one side and green rolling mountains on the other. We visited two Buddhist temples; one which sat on the coast (breathtaking) and the other which was nestled deep in the mountains (majestic.)

We dipped our toes in the warm ocean water at the beach. Hiked up steep rocky trails in the mountains. Visited a fish market on the seaside. Wandered through the streets of Busan in the rain. We also spent four relaxing hours at SpaLand.

Imagine this: 3 floors of relaxation.
Floor one- men and women separated. This is a public bath house. This is where you "take a bath" ...with everyone else (about a hundred+ other men/women.) The place was packed! There were about 9 different hot and cold baths as well as private outdoor wading pools. Ladies all around me scrubbed themselves down and then scrubbed each other down. I sat there. Alone. Naked. Culturally shocked.
The other two floors are dedicated to your relaxation. You slip into a some comfy clothes (provided of course by the spa house) and wander around to the different relaxation areas including: the Roman sauna, Finnish sauna, Turkish steam, Korean sauna, a special "wave room" (where moving water is projected on the ceiling), the pyramid room, the sound vibration room, the salt room, the Bali room, you name it! These floors are co-ed so I wandered around with Nick; both of us in our matching capris and shirt. We visited almost every single one. We left: beyond relaxed!!!!!! It really must be experienced to be fully appreciated.

Busan was a great holiday get-away! Happy Chu-seok!
